Plans and Usage

Cleotic offers different plan tiers that control how many resources you can use and which features are available. The Plan & Usage page in settings shows your current tier, resource limits, and how much you've used.

Starter (Free)

The free tier gives you enough to monitor one project with basic limits. It's a good starting point for evaluating Cleotic or for small-scale monitoring.

Business Lite ($49/month)

Expanded limits for teams that need to monitor multiple projects and competitors. Includes full citation history retention.

Custom

For organisations that need unlimited resources or enterprise features. Custom plans include web search capability, which lets AI models use live web results when responding to your prompts. Contact Cleotic for pricing.

Grandfathered

Early users who had accounts before plan enforcement receive unlimited access to all features. This tier is no longer available to new accounts.

Reading your usage

The Plan & Usage page shows progress bars for each resource limit:

  • Active projects -- How many of your projects are in "active" status
  • Brands -- Total brands across all projects
  • Active monitors -- How many monitors are in "active" status
  • Prompts -- Total prompts across all monitors
  • Active reports -- How many reports have active (non-revoked) share links

Progress bars are colour-coded:

  • Green -- Well within your limit
  • Amber -- Approaching your limit (80%+)
  • Red -- At or over your limit

Below the usage bars, you'll also see feature availability:

  • Web search -- Whether your plan includes web search for monitors
  • Citation history -- How many days of citation data you retain (7 days or unlimited)

What happens when you hit a limit

When you reach a limit, you'll see an error message when trying to create new resources of that type. For example, if you're on the Starter plan with 15 prompts and try to create a 16th, you'll get a "plan limit reached" message.

To free up capacity:

  • Pause instead of delete. Pausing a project or monitor doesn't count toward your active limit. You can pause things you're not actively using and resume them later.
  • Remove unused resources. Delete prompts, brands, or reports you no longer need.
  • Upgrade your plan. Move to Business Lite or Custom for higher limits.
