Content Studio
Open Content Studio in the project sidebar to turn answer and recommendation gaps into briefs and drafts. You can also follow a content action from Opportunities.
The idea
Monitoring tells you where you are missing from AI conversations. Opportunities tells you what to prioritise. Content Studio helps you plan and generate content for those gaps.
The current workflow looks like this:
- Find answer gaps. Review prompts where competitors are mentioned but your brand is not.
- Open an answer-gap opportunity. Read the suggested coverage and workflow state.
- Add a brief. Create a brief from one of the suggested coverage items.
- Generate content. Use AI to produce a draft from the brief's planning context.
- Review and publish. Copy the Markdown draft, regenerate if needed, then mark it published or archive it.
Working areas
Content Studio currently has two project views:
Answer gaps
The default Content Studio view lists answer-gap and recommendation-gap opportunities. You can filter by segment, switch between actionable/resolved/done/won't-fix/all worklists, open a gap, add suggested briefs, and update workflow state.
Pipeline
The Pipeline view lists content briefs. It supports segment filtering, status filtering, generation, regeneration, copy-to-clipboard, published/archived status updates, and deletion. Generated briefs also show the generation provider and quality details when available.
Content Studio settings
Project-wide Content Studio settings live in Project Settings -> Content Studio. That page lets you:
- Set the default tone inherited by new briefs unless overridden
- Create, edit, upload, and delete skills
- Keep skills either project-scoped or organisation-wide
Saving a skill does not automatically apply it to new briefs, and the brief editor has no skill picker. Put required instructions in the brief objective and choose a tone. See Skills.
Generation access
Brief creation and editing are available while the workspace is writable, but AI draft generation depends on your plan. When generation is locked or exhausted, the UI shows a lock or quota message instead of running the model.
Content Studio generation uses a monthly allowance. Check Settings -> Plan & Usage for the remaining amount and reset timing.
When the allowance is exhausted, you can still create and edit briefs and maintain skills in a writable workspace. See Plans and usage.
Marking a brief published records your progress. Cleotic does not publish the draft to your website, and publication does not automatically resolve a visibility gap.
Getting started with Content Studio
- Start with Opportunities. Open Opportunities and find high-priority content or answer-gap work.
- Open Content Studio. Review the Answer Gaps list and choose a high-scoring gap.
- Add a suggested brief. Use the gap detail view to create a brief from suggested coverage.
- Tune the brief. Adjust title, content type, objective, and tone before generation.
- Generate, copy, and publish. Review the generated Markdown, move it into your publishing workflow, then mark the brief as published.
